The Photoshop CS6 training outline below is just a summary and does not reveal the full content of this training program.
We'll explore Photoshop CS6 user interface to get you acquainted with the various menus, panels and tools you will be using more often to create your artwork. Learn how to customize your workspace, use Adobe® Bridge to navigate and manage your images, quickly process photos in Camera Raw workspace before taking them to the next level with Photoshop.
Discover the various file types you can use in your Photoshop projects and how to perform basic image operations such as resizing, cropping, adjusting the resolution and more. We'll also explore colors the lifeblood of images, how to choose colors, work in different color modes, understand color channels and adjust color levels.
We'll focus specifically on selection tools so you can get an in-depth knowledge how to use Photoshop CS6 tools such as the lasso, the quick selection, marquee and magic wand to make adjustments to your selection
to isolate areas of an image, remove unwanted artifacts or just swap the background scene of a photo.
You'll finally learn how to use layers to organize your artwork then we'll browse through the adjustments panel to discover various effects you can apply to a target layer. We'll also explore the channels as well as the history and action panels.
Picking up where we left off the previous day, you will now start image editing to enhance, retouch and make corrections on your photos. Going from a "raw image" you will learn how to "photoshop" an image to retouch the eyes, hair, skin, adjust the lighting and color tones to achieve fashion industry quality images on your models.
You will then learn how to paint in Photoshop, draw vector shapes & paths, explore various filter effects, blending modes and typography. You will learn to use the text tool to add, edit, format, and achieve creative text effects in your artwork.
We'll finally explore artistic effects to create transformations and discover other Photoshop features such as the liquify tools, use some artistic effects to create seamless compositions and blending composite files. We'll also look into Photoshop 3D features to create and manipulate 3D objects and well as edit 3D scenes.
We'll conclude this training session by learning how to design a web site template, create slices and export those assets to Dreamweaver to build an HTML web page. You'll also learn how to design e-book covers, create a GIF animations and automate repetitive tasks.
